Welcome to my website
Hello my name is Joey Jones. I am a Graphic Designer, 3D Modeler and Artist. I am a graduate of The Art Institute of Tampa where I have received a Bachelor of Fine Art Degree in Media Art and Animation.
How it all began.
My career as an artist began as a young child. My father inspired me to draw. I remember watching Saturday morning cartoons and watching him doodle funny little characters onto a page. The way he could make an empty white piece of paper come to life was amazing and in those moments I realized that I wanted to learn how to bring art to life.
So I began to draw, it started with pencil, crayons, markers and then in my early school years I started to work with water color paints and acrylic paints. As technology grew so did my art and the ability to create using the computer. After the release of Toy Story in 1995 I knew I wanted to build upon my art and dive into the world of 3D animation. Today after accomplishing a degree I continue to learn and grow in this vast world of art. From a piece of paper, a canvas, a photograph, to the computer, Photoshop, 3Ds Max, Maya and the world of 3D. The sky is the limit and I am ready to fly!
